Hi Mr. Ishiguro. Wonderful novel. Your novels in general had always dealt with despair, regret,loss and longing. Is this self referential? Do you associate yourself with Kathy as well?


The novel ended in a quite huge chunk of just a single character explaining, perhaps, the whole book. I thought the author found it hard to end the novel. Was it, really?
